Emerging Technological Approaches in International Education: A Synthesis of Review of Literatures

Abstract

The purpose of this review article was to provide a deeper understanding of the emerging technological approaches in education making use of a synthesis of review of literatures approach. Specifically, this study aimed to do the following: present the emerging technological approaches in education; and present the common themes such as advantages and disadvantages of technology in education. There were six (6) articles reviewed in this paper. The different technological approaches reviewed were found out to have more positive effects than negative ones as discussed in this paper. Provided that technology is used properly and accordingly inside the classroom, it will make teaching and learning more effective, fun, and meaningful for both teachers and students.
